As part of its ongoing commitment to developing girls’ soccer in Northern Nevada, Nevada Elite FC introduces its new "Excel Program,"  beginning July 1 and ending on July 29, 2011.  The Excel Program is open to all Nevada Elite players U10-14 (in Fall 2011).  The Excel Program will be held at Terrace Sports Complex, 2525 Robb Drive, Reno.  The Excel Program will be led by Nevada Elite’s Technical Director, Jeff Cade.  Each session will be age-appropriate and focus on a different developmental area.

The Excel Program focuses on the development of individual player skills and will introduce players to the Nevada Elite Series Training.  This skill base teaches the 4 R’s of soccer (Receiving the ball, Running with the ball, Releasing the ball and Retaining the ball). These areas will be taught to all players as a foundation for individual development.  These technical skills will be refined in small sided games and group play, allowing players to incorporate their technical skills in under real pressure in game situations. 

The Excel Program is reasonably priced as well:  $18 for current Nevada Elite players.  The Exce; Program will provide useful instruction in a fun and supportive environment that allows players to continue to work with the ball throughout the summer.

Registration:  Each session will be limited to 30 players.  The cost for Nevada Elite players is $18.  To register for the Excel Program, go to the Registration tab, above, or CLICK HERE to enter the online registration system.  Once you register online,  print the Excel Program Registration Form and bring the completed registration form with you and turn it in at the first session.  All players must register for the program online (under the Registration tab on the website).  The deadline for sign-ups is June 29th to be guaranteed a spot; we will take sign-ups at the field on a first-come, first-served basis up to 30 players per session.
