Nevada Elite FC hosted Dynasty Goalkeeping at the new Golden Eagle sports complex in Sparks, Nevada, on February 27-March 1, 2009, for the first Dynasty Winter Camp. The Academy was a huge success for both the Academy and the attending players. The camp featured top-level goalkeeping instruction from Tracy Ducar, former North Carolina and US Women's National Team goalkeeper, one of the preemininent goalkeeping coaches in the country. The players attending the Academy received technical instruction as well as lecture-style information on goalkeeping and college recruiting. Players showed great technical improvement from the beginning to the end of the Academy, and had fun in the process.
Tracy, the founder and director of Dynasty Goalkeeping, played goalkeeper at the University of North Carolina from 1991-95, played goalkeeper on the U.S. Women’s National team from 1996-99, played in the WUSA from 2001-03, and has coached at the collegiate level. She has her US Soccer "A" coaching license. Dynasty Goalkeeping also offers exclusive goalkeeping and team training. Both Nevada Elite and Dynasty Goalkeeping would like to thank the players who volunteered their time to serve as field players for the Academy.
